About the role
The Relationship Officer at Capital Security Bank is customer-focused and sales-driven, supporting the Senior Relationship Manager in maintaining and growing client relationships, managing accounts, upselling banking products, and driving business growth through new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
New Client Onboarding & Verification
Collect, verify, and process client documents for new accounts, managing applications within set timelines to ensure quick turnaround and meet client expectations.
Client Relationship Management
Assist the Senior Relationship Manager in building and maintaining client relationships by understanding client needs and developing tailored solutions. Deliver exceptional service by addressing client inquiries promptly, managing customer care requests, and ensuring thorough follow-up for resolution.
Sales Growth & Business Expansion
Drive business growth by identifying new client opportunities, upselling, and cross-selling investment banking products to strengthen relationships and maximize revenue.
Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure all client onboarding and account management processes comply with regulatory standards by conducting thorough screening and due diligence. Follow up on screening outcomes and ensure all documentation meets compliance requirements to mitigate risk and maintain adherence to legal and internal policies.
Account Exit Management
Efficiently handle account closure requests and manage the rejection process for incomplete or non-compliant applications.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with the Senior Relationship Manager and Banking Team to ensure smooth service delivery and provide administrative support, including CRM updates and document management.
Requirements
Banking Experience
Previous experience or academic background in the banking or financial services sector is preferred.
Customer Relationship Management
Basic knowledge of CRM practices, with a strong willingness to learn and effectively use these tools to improve client interactions. A natural ability to build positive relationships with both clients and colleagues, fostering a collaborative work environment. A dedicated focus on understanding and fulfilling client needs by delivering tailored solutions that enhance overall satisfaction.
Sales and Customer Service
Previous experience in sales or customer service is desirable, demonstrating the ability to contribute to business growth and maintain excellent client relations.
Problem-Solving Skills
A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to identify challenges and seek appropriate solutions.
Communication Skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively to clients and team members.
Teamwork and Support
Ability to work well within a team, supporting Senior Relationship Manager in achieving divisional goals.
